Isopropyl Alcohol


 Isopropyl alcohol is an ingredient in PURELL Hand Sanitizer


>Its chemical name is Isopropanol.
>Its chemical structure is C3H8O
>The ease with isoproyl alcohol combusts makes it a dangerous substance that could result in servere or fatal burns to anyone affected by an explosion. External irritations of the skin and eyes may occur from acute exposure to isoproyl alcohol. Incoordination and dizziness may result from exporsure to isoproyl alcohol. OSHA reports that bradycardia, a slowing of the heartbeat, has been observed after oral ingestion of isoproyl alcohol solutions of 25 ml to 100 ml of water.
>This compound is primarily produced by combining water and propene in a hydration reaction. It is also produced by hydrogenating acetone.
>Isoproyl alcohol is a volatile, flammable, clear, colorless liquid which has a sight odor resembling that of a mixture of ethanol and acetone. It has a bitter taste.
>Isoproyl alcohol its a less percentage then etyhl alcohol but work together to keep your hands free of the bacteria and viruses that cause infection and disease
